James T. Sterling currently lives in Burlington, Ontario, where he has owned and operated a print business for twenty years. A lifetime of affection towards heroic characters has fuelled his drive to complete the heroic/dark fantasy; The Sailor, The Giant, and The Madman.

Influenced by an assortment of conquering heroes such as Captain Blood, Conan the Barbarian and Druss the Legend, James has created a world where the dichotomy of good and evil, hope and despair, compassion and brutality, threaten to destroy everyone in it.

Throughout the book you will find numerous references to the regions of Northern Ontario where James spends his summers with his wife Shelley and their two children, Holly and Tom.

James has attended several workshops where his book has been well received by those that had the grit to survive his dark prose.

Presently, James is hard at work on the sequel.
